A Little Bit About Me: I volunteer so that I can give students an opportunity to participate in activities. Some of my volunteer experiences include: listening to a child read in an elementary school for the Halton Catholic District School Board, Intermediate Choir Manager for the Oakville Children's Choir and 'Den Mother' at the Provincial Women's Softball Association of Ontario Skills Camp and 2010 Ontario Summer Games.

Why I Volunteer: The Take Our Kids to Work day gives students a chance to learn about the jobs their parents do at McMaster University. The program also allows students an opportunity to spend time learning about an area of McMaster that is of particular interest to them. Hopefully, this experience will provide students with information that will help them with their individual career decisions.

Title: Assistant Professor

Why I Volunteer: Teaching large, introductory courses in the DeGroote School of Business for over ten years, I continue to be amazed by the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students. Furthering education is a key priority in my role and I bring this perspective to the Committee. In addition, it is a pleasure to interact with employees from other areas across campus that also share this perspective.
