A little bit about me: Besides my involvement with the McMaster Employee Spirit Society, I have been working as the administrative assistant for the past three years with the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis. I thoroughly enjoy both aspects of my involvement here. Outside of work I organize a social group of art enthusiasts which get together a few times a month to visit museums, go to live shows and attend artist crawls among other artistic venues. Why I volunteer: I believe that the perks our MESS committee provides are important for the health and wellbeing of employee morale here at McMaster and feel honoured to be part of the process. My fellow volunteers on the committee are a great group and it is a fantastic experience working with every one of them. The events we organize provide a great opportunity for McMaster Employees to meet one another when their paths would not normally cross. |

A little bit about me: I have been a member of MESS for over 10 years and have been involved with McMaster Athletics for more than 20 years. Why I volunteer: Helping to foster spirit among McMaster employees by organizing these events allows us to meet fellow staff, and also support our sports teams and theatre events. |
