The Management Group (TMG) Benefits Plan

Effective July 1 2018 your benefit plan incorporated the following changes:

  • Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) receivers, transmitters or sensors, for persons diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, up to a combined maximum of $4,000 per person per benefit year. Sun Life must be provided a doctor`s note confirming the diagnosis.

Effective July 2016 SunLife is the provider for Emergency Out‐of‐Country Travel Coverage. Details regarding this coverage can be found here.

Effective July 1 2014 your benefit plan incorporated the following changes:

  • Vision Care: Increase the maximum to $400 every 24 months.
  • Dental: Add coverage for dental implants (included under major dental procedures).

Effective July 2013 your benefit plan incorporated the following changes:

  • Paramedical: Add Registered Social Workers and Occupational Therapist $500 per person per benefit year. No per visit maximum.
  • Hearing Aids: 80% of the cost, up to a maximum of $1000 per ear, over a three-year period.
