Clinical Faculty Benefit Plans

Effective July 1, 2018 your benefits plan incorporated the following changes:

Vision Care: Increase in vision care from $250 to $400 per person every 24 months.

Eye Exam: Coverage for the services of an opthamologist or licensed optometrist for one eye exam over 2 benefit years, up to a maximum of $100 per person, has been expanded to include dependents.

Long Term Disability (LTD)

The Clinical Faculty Association (CFA) and McMaster University are pleased to provide Clinical Faculty members with a Long Term Disability (LTD) plan that maximizes their disability coverage.

Important Note:  RBC Insurance requires advance notification for any Clinical Faculty members travelling outside of Canada to a High Risk Country for a continuous period in excess of 30 days.  If you are planning travel for over 30 days to a High Risk Destination, as listed by RBC here.
