UNIFOR Local 5555 represents all non-management, non-academic employees of McMaster University in Ontario, with the exception of non-academic employees employed for less than one year and those in TMG.*

The UNIFOR Local 5555 Unit 1 seniority list is current to October 31, 2017. The UNIFOR Local 5555 Units 3 & 4 seniority lists are current to November 21, 2018.  In the event that you feel there may be an error in your seniority date, please bring it to the attention of the Unifor Office so that it may be addressed with the University.  The seniority list shall be deemed correct until such time as an error is brought to the attention of the Employer by the Union.

UNIFOR Local 5555 and the University have established the Labour Management Committee to foster effective communications and working relationships between the Parties, and to maintain a spirit of mutual co-operation and respect.

The UNIFOR Local 5555 - McMaster University Labour Management Committee is composed of five (5) Association Representatives and five (5) representatives of the University.
