Positions that provide general or specialized support for financial processes, transactions, standard or advanced accounting report generation, tracking and oversight of a large number and variety of accounts, expenses and troubleshooting anomalies, including specific responsibilities such as payroll, advanced spreadsheet functions, or accountant level positions.

Positions that provide general or specialized administrative, clerical or secretarial coordination and support within an academic or administrative unit, that include general tasks including but not limited to reception, word processing, general spreadsheet functions, basic office procedures, organizing meetings, travel, scheduling appointments, and taking minutes.

Athletics

Positions that provide general or specialized skills in support of athletics and recreation services such as event planning and coordination, fitness programs, team coaching, program leaders responsible for assessing, testing, coordination, marketing and booking venues, equipment and other resources in support of athletic events.

Positions that provide general or specialized skills in relation to AV, print and media productions including customer service, technical audio visual classroom support, equipment maintenance, management of audio visual collections, production scheduling and coordination, digital media, and graphic design.

Construction

Positions that provide general or specialized technical skills in relation to building construction, renovations, repair, preventative maintenance and inspection, including project management, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, architectural, concept design drawings, cataloguing and code interpretation, tender documents, RFPs, and responsibility for ensuring compliance with University standards and codes, and regulatory standards, policies and directives.

Data Management

Positions that provide general or specialized data management including data entry and database accuracy, dealing with confidential data, file tracking, validation and reporting of data, preparing statistical reports, identifying discrepancies, development of quality controls and procedure modification, data research and analysis, system development and maintenance, data design and statistical analysis, statistical guidance in implementation of leading edge statistical analytical methods.

Engineer

Positions that provide general or more specialized technical expertise and engineering support within academic and/or research labs including maintenance, purchase and instruction on the proper use of equipment, chemicals, and operation of machinery of varying complexity, fabrication and testing, develops multi-axis machining software and code for specialized application to assist research, professional engineering services to design, develop and coordinate research projects, presents briefings to industry on progress of work, and develops technical scientific procedures.

Healthcare

Positions that provide general support of healthcare including equipment, scheduling appointments, patient testing and billing, calculating drug orders, and triaging, assessing and arranging transfer of patients. More specialized positions provide support for managing medical clinics including supervision, budgets, policy and procedure development, and staff training to performing development assessments of children including writing interpretive reports, providing on-field emergency care and drug-related information sessions for varsity athletes, crisis and non-crisis assessment, treatment and consultation, identifying high risk areas, developing diagnosis and treatment plans, provision of physiotherapy services in a clinic environment and coordinating research projects.

Technician
