MacVIP Reports

With the implementation of MacVIP there are many additional payroll and human resources reports that are now available for managers. These are referred to as McMaster Custom Reports. The most commonly used report is the Run of Hours Simulation.  This report can be run after 2pm on the Tuesday before payday. (New Time effective April 2008, due to high volume of Exception Time Sheets).

There is also a Procedure Manual for MacVIP Users which takes users through the step by step process to run these reports for your area. This material now requires VPN authentication.  Please ensure you log on to Admin VPN prior to viewing this guide using the Cisco VPN Client and your MAC ID.

Labour Distribution Reports

These reports are in addition to the Labour Distribution Reports which continue to be available through Oracle. Click to sign onto ORACLE.

Exception Reports

These reports are provided to the secondary approver offices, e.g. FHS Finance, Central Research, Budgeting, and FHS Research Finance on the Tuesday before pay day. Any changes or errors identified need to be reported back to Payroll as soon as possible, but not later than 10 am on the Wednesday to ensure corrections are made for the pay that will be sent to the Bank on Wednesday afternoon.  For more information regarding Exception Reports contact your HR Advisor or
