2012 TD1 Federal and Provincial Personal Exemption amounts effective January 1, 2012.
Your current Federal and Provincial exemption amounts on file for 2012 are printed on your pay statement - check your first pay statement with a January deposit date. These are the amounts used to calculate your income tax payable for the 2012 taxation year.
Please complete 2012 TD1 Personal Tax Credits Return if one of the following scenarios applies:
- claiming other than the Basic Personal Exemption amounts -- Federal $10,822/Provincial $9,405
- changing your current claim to the Basic Personal Exemption
- requesting Additional Tax deductions
Forward completed/signed Federal and Provincial forms to your HR Advisor.
