The University Policy on the Recognition of Student Groups governs the process around clubs and societies being sanctioned. If you are not sanctioned, you may not use the McMaster name, and you may not utilize the Event Risk Management Process.

Before planning your event, make sure that you have a PIN number and access to the email address that is linked to the PIN. These are BOTH used by the online event planning portal. If you have forgotten or do not have a pin, please refer to the responsible parties below.

  • Step by step instructions for all event organizers can be found here (includes sending & managing bus monitors).
  • You may have waivers to complete, certificates of insurance to access, or other details to work out with your approvers therefore please ensure that you submit all event forms in a timely manner.
