Notice of Postdoctoral Salary Ranges

The following information is posted in accordance with Article 17.03a) of the CUPE 3906 Unit #3 Collective Agreement for Postdoctoral Fellows, which states that,

“The parties recognize that from all combined sources including internal and external sources, the annualized stipends/salaries for employees fall within a range.  Based on the payroll information available, the University will, as at January 1st and July 1st of each calendar year, post a “Notice of Postdoctoral Salary Ranges” stating the then current 20th percentile and 80th percentile of postdoctoral fellowship salaries/stipends.”

As of January 1, 2010 the 20th percentile was $38,000/year, while the 80th percentile was $45,802/year.

As of July 1, 2010 the 20th percentile was $38,000/year, while the 80th percentile was $46,000/year.

As of January 1, 2011 the 20th percentile was $40,000/year, while the 80th percentile was $46,141/year.

As of July 1, 2011 the 20th percentile was $40,000/year, while the 80th percentile was $50,000/year.

As of January 1, 2012 the 20th percentile is $38,800/year, while the 80th percentile is $50,000/year.
