Applications for McMaster University's third offering of its award-winning Certificate in Advanced Leadership and Management (CALM) will open in Feburary 2012. CALM provides participants with a unique cohort-based experience that combines diverse classroom-based learning, practical dialogue with University leaders, one-on-one coaching and the opportunity to apply learning via a strategic and innovative team project.
Eligible participants must be:
- Non-academic managers (TMG or MUFA Librarians) with direct-reports in a bargaining unit and/or TMG;
- In their current manager role for a minimum of one year (based on program start date);
- Faculty Directors, Chairs or Associate Deans.

Program Details
The CALM program is offered on a biennial basis. The next cohort (CALM 3) begins in the fall of 2012.

- Applicant Notification Begins: early August 2012
- CALM First Session Begins: October 11, 2012
